Description

Performs inspection, overhaul, calibration and testing of various process valves to ensure safe and accurate operation in Oil & Gas facilities.

Responsibilities

✔ Maintenance & overhauling of control valves, safety relief valves, ball valves, gate valves, butterfly valves
✔ Dismantling, reassembly, torqueing & lapping of valve seats and trims
✔ Calibration of control valves actuators (electric, pneumatic & hydraulic)
✔ Valve function testing using test benches & portable calibrators
✔ Gasket installation, packing adjustments & leakage rectification
✔ Interpretation of P&ID drawings & valve data sheets
✔ Shutdown/Turnaround valve PM & CM procedures under PTW compliance

Qualifications

ITI / Diploma with 4–8 years experience in Oil & Gas valve maintenance
