Specializes in hydraulic torqueing and tensioning of critical bolted joints in high-pressure & high-temperature Oil & Gas equipment ensuring leak-free and safe operation.
Responsibilities
✔ Torqueing & tensioning of flanges on heat exchangers, pressure vessels, columns, reactors & pipelines
✔ Bolt tightening based on torque charts & project specifications
✔ Operation of hydraulic torque pumps, tensioners & stud extractors
✔ Controlled disassembly & bolt replacement during shutdowns
✔ Knowledge of ASME/ANSI codes for flange tightening procedures
✔ Work documentation, flange tag record keeping & safety compliance
Qualifications
ITI / Diploma with 3–6 years Oil & Gas bolting experience (Shutdown/Turnaround preferred)
