Description

The Scaffolding Inspector is responsible for inspecting and certifying scaffolding structures in accordance with ARAMCO GI 8.001 and international standards to ensure safe access for construction, maintenance and shutdown works.

Responsibilities

✔ Inspect and certify scaffold erection, modification & dismantling activities

✔ Ensure full compliance with ARAMCO GI 8.001, OSHA & international guidelines

✔ Verify scaffold structural stability, working platform levels & safe load capacity

✔ Review and approve scaffolding tagging system (Green / Yellow / Red)

✔ Validate guardrails, toe boards, ladder access, planks & fall protection systems

✔ Conduct pre-use, routine and special inspections after weather or operational impacts

✔ Sign off scaffolding inspection checklists and maintain daily log sheets

✔ Identify deficiencies and ensure immediate corrective actions by scaffold team

✔ Coordinate with Safety Officers, Supervisors & PTW receivers for safe execution of work

✔ Participate in JSA, risk assessments & working-at-height safety audits

✔ Provide toolbox talks and coaching to scaffold team on safe erection practices

Qualifications

🔸 Valid ARAMCO Approved Scaffolding Inspector Certification – Mandatory 🔸 Minimum 5–10 years Oil & Gas experience 🔸 Strong knowledge of GI standards, OSHA & scaffold safety procedures 🔸 Shutdown / Turnaround experience preferred
