The Rigger Level II is responsible for safely assisting lifting operations, preparing lifting gear, and guiding loads using correct rigging procedures under the direction of the lifting supervisor.
Responsibilities
✔ Assist in lifting operations following approved lift plans and safety instructions
✔ Select and inspect slings, shackles, spreader bars and rigging components before use
✔ Signal crane operator and guide suspended loads with clear communication
✔ Check load weight, angles and center of gravity to prevent unsafe lifting
✔ Secure loads before transportation and ensure proper landing areas
✔ Follow PTW, JSA & lifting safety procedures at all times
✔ Report defective rigging equipment and unsafe conditions immediately
✔ Support during shutdown and heavy lifting operations
Qualifications
🔸 Valid Rigger Level II Certification (TUV / ARAMCO / LEEA / OSHA or equivalent)
🔸 3–6 years experience in Oil & Gas lifting operations
