The Rotary Technician performs installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, turbines, and gearboxes in Oil & Gas facilities, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
Responsible for executing preventive and corrective maintenance, alignment, vibration checks, lubrication, and commissioning of rotary equipment while strictly following HSE and PTW procedures.
Responsibilities
🔹 Install, dismantle, and reassemble pumps, compressors, turbines, and associated equipment
🔹 Perform precision alignment using laser/dial alignment tools
🔹 Conduct vibration analysis, coupling alignment, bearing replacements, and lubrication
🔹 Support hydro testing, commissioning, and startup activities
🔹 Inspect equipment for defects, report technical issues, and assist in troubleshooting
🔹 Maintain tools, equipment logs, and ensure PTW/LOTO compliance
🔹 Follow OEM guidelines and standard operating procedures for all rotary equipment
🔹 Participate in shutdowns and turnaround maintenance

Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
🎓 ITI / Diploma – Mechanical or related field
🛠 3–6 years experience in Oil & Gas rotary equipment maintenance
