The Rotary Planning Engineer is responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring maintenance, installation, and commissioning of rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and auxiliary machinery using Primavera P6 and SAP.
Plan, schedule, and track rotary equipment activities to ensure safe, timely, and efficient execution in Oil & Gas projects while maintaining project documentation and progress tracking.
Responsibilities
🔹 Develop project schedules, resource allocation, and manpower plans for rotary equipment maintenance and installation
🔹 Monitor progress of shutdowns, maintenance, and commissioning activities
🔹 Coordinate with project engineers, QC, HSE, and operations for workflow optimization
🔹 Update schedules in Primavera P6 and track manpower, material, and equipment in SAP
🔹 Support PTW, JSA, LOTO, and risk assessment for rotary work
🔹 Identify delays, bottlenecks, and propose corrective actions
🔹 Maintain documentation including Gantt charts, resource histograms, and progress logs
Qualifications
🎓 Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma – Mechanical or relevant field
🛠 5–10 years experience in Oil & Gas projects with rotary equipment planning
💻 Proficient in Primavera P6 and SAP ERP
