The Safety Officer is responsible for implementing and monitoring HSE policies at the worksite, ensuring full compliance with Oil & Gas safety standards and company procedures. The role includes conducting safety inspections, toolbox talks, incident reporting, and enforcing PTW, JSA, risk assessments, and safety control measures during hydro jetting, hydro testing, critical lifting operations, scaffolding activities, and other high-risk tasks to maintain a safe working environment.
Note: Only Indian candidates are preferred.
Responsibilities
Implement and monitor HSE policies and site safety compliance
Identify and eliminate unsafe acts/conditions immediately
Prepare safety reports, checklists, and near-miss/incident documentation
Ensure compliance with PTW, JSA, Risk Assessment & LOTO procedures
Support emergency response planning and drills
Coordinate with PTW program, site team & client safety representatives
Qualifications
BSc / Diploma in Engineering or Safety with NEBOSH IGC mandatory, minimum 3–10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, and strong knowledge of PTW, JSA, and safety compliance systems.
