The PTW Coordinator is responsible for issuing, managing, and controlling the Permit-to-Work system to ensure safe execution of all routine and critical work activities. The role involves reviewing documentation, authorizing permits, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures during high-risk operations such as hot work, confined space, hydro jetting, hydro testing, critical lifting, and scaffolding activities.
Note: Only Indian candidates are preferred.
Responsibilities
Issue, verify, and control PTW for all maintenance and shutdown activities
Coordinate between site supervisors, contractors, and the control room before job execution
Ensure supporting documents are verified (Risk Assessment, JSA, MS, Certificates)
Maintain daily logs for open, closed, suspended, and cancelled permits
Monitor work involving hot work, confined space entry, work at height, LOTO, and energized systems
Participate in safety audits and ensure permit closure once job is completed
Ensure compliance with company and international safety standards
Qualifications
Diploma / Degree in Engineering or Safety
PTW experience in Oil & Gas Industry – Mandatory
Aramco project experience preferred (not mandatory)
Strong knowledge of hydro jetting, hydro testing, critical lifting, scaffolding, and shutdown safety procedures
Good communication in English
