The Quantity Surveyor (Mechanical – Sand Blasting & Painting) is responsible for quantification, estimation, and cost evaluation related to mechanical surface preparation and coating activities, ensuring alignment with client specifications and industry standards.
📌 Note: Only Indian candidates are preferred.
Responsibilities
✔ Quantity take-off for sandblasting & painting based on drawings, isometrics & site measurements
✔ Evaluation of blasting surface area, coating thickness, paint consumption & production rates
✔ Monitor daily productivity, material usage & schedule progress
✔ Validate subcontractor invoices and progress reports
✔ Coordinate with QA/QC, site execution & planning departments
✔ Maintain accurate documentation for audits, billing & project completion
Qualifications
🔸 Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
🔸 Minimum 5–10 years experience in sandblasting & painting projects (Oil & Gas / Tanks / Pipelines)
🔸 Knowledge of SSPC, NACE, or coating industry standards preferred
