Description

The Mechanical Engineer manages installation, testing, commissioning, and inspection activities involving piping, static & rotary equipment, ensuring compliance with project requirements and engineering standards.

Responsibilities

✔ Supervise installation of pumps, compressors, motors, heat exchangers, tanks & pressure vessels

✔ Monitor piping fabrication, welding, hydro test & pre-commissioning

✔ Review mechanical drawings, P&IDs & material specs

✔ Coordinate with QA/QC, construction & commissioning teams

✔ Ensure safety and quality compliance

Qualifications

🔸 BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering 🔸 5–10+ years Oil & Gas / Petrochemical project experience
